Evidently, Samuel's brother, Richard, cared for Samuel after the death of their father Benjamin Borden. When Samuel's brother, Richard Borden, died James Borden Samuel's nephew assumed the responsiblity. Reference: Will of Richard Borden Burlington Co., N. J.[4787 C] proved 4 May 1751.
