    • About 1770 John and Ann moved from Frederick County, Virginia, to Bedford County, Virginia. A few years later they moved to Knox County, Tennessee. He died there on Stock Creek in 1798. Ann died later in Bledsoe County, Tennessee. Their children (not in the proper order) were: Joseph BORDEN (c.1738-before 1841), William BORDEN (d. before 1841), John BORDEN (d. many years before 1841), Benjamin BORDEN (d. before 1841), Massie (Mercy?)
